For over three years now, the Michael Gerard Puharic Memorial fund, Inc. has been helping locam families in crisis, by providing support, comfort and easing the burden as brave parents struggle with seriously ill newborns. Thanks to friends, family and the hundreds of generous supporters this wonderful organization is continuing to grow and provide comfort during difficult times.
The Mission is simple: To support, give comfort and ease the burden for parents carrying and caring for seriously ill newborns. In addition the fund seeks to educate and raise awareness about serious illnesses and chromosome disorders, specifically Trisony 13 and 18.
What the fund provides: Counseling and support through Online Family Center. Bassinets and changing tables, overnight bags with supplies, car seats and rocking chairs, and other items to lighten the burden and assist with seriously ill children.
In addition, the Michael's Feat will make direct donations to the parents of seriously ill children and Neonatal Intensive Care Units including: Financial support, baby clothing, unique items for premature infants. Appropriate families receive up to $350.00 in needed items and financial support.
