On Saturday, September 20, 2003, communities worldwide participated in "Kids Day America/International" This is a special day dedicated to children's health, safety, and environmental awareness in our community.
The Wall Community Relations/Community Alliance and Garrow Family Chiropractic sponsored the event in Wall Township. There were many attractions and surprises for children. Balloons, snacks, t-shirts and other giveaways were plentiful and free to all. Wall Community Relations/Community Alliance spotlighted their involvement in the prevention and awareness of drugs and alcholol in our community.
Monmouth-Ocean Children's Heart Center sponsored the Youth Bike give away and provided t-shirts and free blood pressure checks for kids and adults. The MOCHC table was visited by many area residents and Dr. Rivera was happy to see a large showing of patients supporting this good cause. Setting a good example for everyone stopping by for a blood pressure check was good friend and Mayor of Wall Township, Mary Byrne.
